Our Homemade PSL Recipe, and 3 Other Fall Coffee Drinks to Try

Get Festive with these Homemade Fall Coffee Drinks

Fall is officially here, which means it’s finally the appropriate time of year to drink our pumpkin spice lattes and salted caramel mochas! Learn how to make 4 of our favorite fall coffee drinks at home this season.

1. Spooky Cinnamon Mocha

This fall favorite is sure to get you in the spooky spirit. The recipe is ready in 20 minutes and serves 4 drinks.

You’ll need:

  • 2 cups of your choice of milk
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 ounces of white chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 2 ounces of bittersweet chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 2 cups of strongly brewed coffee (we recommend our limited edition Ghost Roast, which has notes of cinnamon)
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Whipped cream if desired

The steps:

  1. Combine the milk and cinnamon sticks in a saucepan over low heat; bring to a simmer, and then remove from the heat
  2. Add the chocolate and whisk until melted
  3. Cover and let stand for 10 minutes, allowing flavors to strengthen and blend
  4. Bring mixture to a simmer and add coffee, brown sugar, and vanilla
  5. Strain and pour into mugs; add whipped cream and garnish with ground cinnamon or chocolate shavings if desired

2. Easy S’mores Latte

Bring a taste of the campfire to your morning with this decadent (but easy to make!) s’mores latte recipe.

You’ll need:

  • Honey
  • Graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup
  • Marshmallow creme or mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup of strong coffee, we recommend the Cafe Cubano blend for a smooth dark chocolate and toasted nut finish

The steps:

  1. Rub the rim of the mug with honey and then roll it through the graham cracker crumbs, creating a fun look and flavor
  2. Add the coffee
  3. Mix the chocolate syrup and milk in a small saucepan, heating until it is warm and bubbly
  4. Froth the milk mixture any way that you like (it can be as easy as shaking it up in a mason jar—read 8 ways to froth milk at home)
  5. Add the frothed chocolate milk to your mug of coffee and then dollop with a spoonful of marshmallow creme or a handful of mini mallows, topping it off with some chocolate sauce drizzle

3. Salted Caramel Latte

This drink is perfect for those who prefer a little salty with their sweet. Give it a try, this recipe only takes 5 minutes to make!

You’ll need:

  • 1 cup of strongly brewed coffee (we recommend the Guatemala San Marcos for its lingering caramel aftertaste)
