Ever wonder who is in charge of getting your coffee from the roaster, in a bag, and out the door to your waiting cup? Well wonder no more, my friends. Meet Emilee our awesome Production Supervisor. We took a few minutes to catch up with Emilee and find out a little more about her...
Sweetwater: What is your role at Sweetwater?
Emilee: My role at Sweetwater is the Production Supervisor.
SW: When did you start drinking and loving coffee?
Em: I first started drinking coffee when I was 19 when Reyna and I took a road trip to Utah. The long drive and longer days of hiking needed a caffeine kick and a cute little coffee food truck in Moab, UT caught our eye. I've been hooked ever since!
SW: What do you do when you are not slinging coffee at SW?
Em: My weekdays are spent at Sweetwater but my weekends are spent on the Itchetucknee River split between relaxing, kayaking, paddle boarding and teaching my nieces/nephews to swim.
SW: If you were stranded on a desert island with one coffee and one song, what coffee would you want to have and what song would you listen to when you drink it?
Em: My desert island coffee is Peru French and my song would have to be Season of the Sticks by Noah Kahn. I've developed a love for folk music as of late and that's what's feeding my soul.
SW: Anything else you want our community to know about you?
Em: I listen to true crime podcasts all day long while I'm working and I'm also taking classes on the side to become a Certified Nurse Assistant in my free time!
Thanks to Emilee for taking the time out to chat. Stay tuned to the blog for more profiles on our incredible crew. Peace!
