Our Ethiopia Sidama Light Roast comes from the Sidama Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (SCFCU), a network of farmer cooperatives in the highlands of southern Ethiopia, a region considered by many to be the ancestral birthplace of coffee itself. The Sidama zone sits at elevations that push beyond 1,900 meters, and the coffee that grows there carries a signature that’s hard to mistake: bright, floral, and layered with fruit in ways most coffees only hint at. In the cup, that shows up as sweet chocolate, lemondrop candy, and delicate floral notes – a smooth brightness that rewards a pour‑over method more than an autopilot brew.
